Growing up in a medical family in the Ukraine, I naturally developed a great respect and appreciation for the healing powers of science. Nature played an equally important role for me, balancing the wonders of science with a rich cultural folk tradition of using local herbs and plants for skin care. Ice cubes made with chamomile and cucumber to keep the face fresh and toned, masks using egg yolk and a few drops of burdock oil to nourish the hair, and so much more.
